2023 IIT End of Year Show, “Context,” a Major Success

The Illinois Institute of Technology College of Architecture saw a great turnout for their end of year show, “Context,” on May 5, 2023 at S. R. Crown Hall. The exhibition, curated by Jennifer Park and crafted by a team of fellow professors and students, features a year’s worth of collective student work.

“Context” aims to understand the work of architecture more deeply—in the environment that informed it, among the thoughts that evolved it, and surrounded by the choices that developed it. Over the course of the academic year, students design projects that respond to the physical, cultural, and social environments. This year’s End of Year Show displays the final projects of students of each degree program, as well as the processes, the iterations, and the conversations that shaped the final work.
