Borders Cruzadas at Ping Tom Park!

The photographers behind the ARTWORKS Projects exhibition Borders Cruzadas: A Welcoming Place, Oscar B. Castillo and Wil Sands, led a tour and workshop with a group fo community navigators representing 11 different immigrant aid organizations across Chicago.  The tour covered installations in 3 parks: Humboldt Park, Marquette Park, and Ping Tom Park.

Founding Partner, Jen Park represented ParkFowler Plus’ contribution to the design of these installations which are on display till the end of the month.

It was inspiring to connect with the photographers and the community activist and listen to their stories and their motivation to bring attention to narratives of migration.  We are humbled to play a small role in this big endeavor.
