Brad Fowler leads DAC Building of the Day tour of Margarite

Last night, Brad Fowler led a DAC Building of the Day tour of Margarite, located in the dynamic and rapidly developing Union Market neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Designed with its urban context in mind, Margarite features a façade that conceptually evokes an oyster. The soft, elegant pearl faces the tranquil Neal Place Park, while the “shell façade” shields the building from the bustling New York Avenue and nearby train tracks.
