ParkFowler Plus is Seeking a Designer or Architect to Join our Team!

We are looking for an architect / architectural designer with 3 to 5 years of experience with a desire to work on a variety of project types and contribute their talents and perspectives to a design-focused practice.

General Requirements:

Can thoroughly work through project concepts and execute at detailed level.

Comfort and skill with client and consultant interaction.

Works well in a team, interested in learning from others, and can course-correct when given direction from project managers.

Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.

Optimistic, honest, self-motivated, organized, and enthusiastic and invested in the field of architecture.

 

Required Experience in the Field:

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in varied project types.

Intermediate proficiency in Revit and Rhino Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop. Competent in rendering software such as Lumion or vRay.

Has completed a full-design process and documentation for at least one project (Schematic, Design Development and Construction Documents).  Comfortable with architectural drawing set standards and organization.  Has experience completing redlined drawings.

Ability to understand, review, and coordinate consultant drawings.

Basic understanding of local building codes and accessibility requirements.

Familiarity with construction administration processes, including responding to RFI’s, preparing sketches and addendums (CCD’s), visiting the construction site to gather information and/or preparing a punch list.

Licensure is not required, but desirable.
