Studio Midterms at IIT!

Jen Park and Mouna Chahin’s architectural studios presented their in-progress designs for midterms at IIT College of Architecture! The format of the presentations followed an atypical structure- with one-on-one discussions between the students and jurors. We heard lots of great questions being asked and saw sketches that brought new layers of information on structure, façade and program adjacencies (only to name a few!). Thanks to all the jurors who contributed to the fruitful conversations and charretted with us!

Next stop – NYC and Washington, DC. Next week, the studio will make their way east to check out different cultural centers and exhibition spaces that may inspire their own spaces!
