Mark Szostak is an Associate at ParkFowler Plus. He has been instrumental in the design and construction of 1280 Union, a luxury multifamily residential project in Northeast Washington, D.C. In addition, he has worked on numerous multifamily towers in Chicago including 369 West Grand, 513 South Damen, and 180 North Ada as well as others across the country, expanding his rich experience in healthcare, office interiors, and transportation. 

He has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Master of Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Medal. During an internship between undergraduate and graduate school, Mark worked with Henning Larsen Architects in Copenhagen on a variety of international projects in locales including Denmark, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Nigeria.  

Mark helps to lead the firm’s BIM Committee and, in addition to his leadership at the office, Mark commits his time outside of the office to Habitat for Humanity as the President of the Associate Board. He is a licensed architect in Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Architects, NCARB, and is a LEED Green Associate.
