David Mulder is an Associate Principal at ParkFowler Plus. As one of our senior designers, David has led a variety of project types from planning and development through conceptual design to construction documentation. David’s strong conceptual understanding permeates through all project types from bespoke single-family homes to substantial planning projects to significant cultural and institutional spaces.
Mulder is the firm’s Digital Design Coordinator and co-leads the Graphics Committee. He is responsible for directing early-stage 3D design and establishing presentation, rendering and graphic standards. David earned a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Medal. His previous experience includes working for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill as a Senior Architect. David is a licensed architect in Illinois, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and previously was a member of AIA Chicago’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee where he co-chaired for three years.
